Cheney's Certified Site
December 12, 2012 - The City of Cheney announced today that their Cheney Industrial and Commerce Park (CICP) has been designated as a Certified Site in Spokane County. Working closely with real estate firm CB Richard Ellis, the nearly 40-acre property in the CICP will provide the city of Cheney and Spokane County with a competitive advantage in attracting more jobs to the region.
2013 State Agenda
December 5, 2012 - Greater Spokane Incorporated Wednesday released its 2013 State Agenda, a document outlining the region's priorities for the upcoming legislative session.

October 3, 2012 - Greater Spokane Incorporated recently launched Work 101 in partnership with Spokane Valley Tech (SVT), the Riverpoint Academy (RA) and the Spokane Area Workforce Development Council (SAWDC).
Deer Park Awarded EDA Grant
August 8, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA), recently announced that the City of Deer Park would receive an investment award in the amount of $1,811,000 to fund infrastructure improvements such as sewer, water, street and sidewalks into the industrial area west of the airport.
Preparing for the KC-46A Tanker Announcement
July 13, 2012 - Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI) is positioning our community and Fairchild Air Force Base to be among the final bases considered to receive the new KC-46A tankers. The U.S. Air Force is expected to narrow down final bases by the end of the summer.
