"I absolutely love what you are doing and can't wait to see what's next."
- Sara Reijonen, Havermale High School

The Greater Spokane Incorporated Teach the Teachers series focuses on educating teachers about careers in high-demand industries. The Greater Spokane Incorporated Teach the Teachers series focuses on educating teachers about available careers in four high-demand industries for high-school students. This series gives teachers up-close exposure to the careers that are available through the combined efforts of business leaders and higher-education instructors. These experiences will equip teachers with the knowledge to share the opportunities available to students and why their classes are important.

The objective of these workshops is to enlighten educators at the high school and middle school level of the many satisfying careers that exist in the industries of manufacturing, aerospace, health care, and business and professional services.  It is a well understood fact that the demand in these industries is climbing and a workforce gap is likely to occur.  By exposing teachers to a sampling of local careers and talking with higher-education instructors about the local program offerings, teachers should walk away with a better understanding of the promising career opportunities these industries can offer.

Wagstaff is a proud sponsor of our Education and Workforce Program. Thank you Wagstaff!
