| Mayor to Give Ag Week Proclamation |

January 30, 3012 - City of Spokane Mayor David Condon will give a proclamation celebrating Ag Week in Spokane on Feb. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spokane Convention Center Exhibit Hall. The proclamation kicks off Spokane Ag Expo and Pacific Northwest Farm Forum, which takes place Feb. 5 - 7 at the Spokane Convention Center.
Who: Jeff Philipps, President of Rosauers Supermarkets and Greater Spokane Incorporated's (GSI) Chair of the Board of Trustees; Jay Allert, President of Aslin-Finch and Chair of GSI's AgriBusiness Council; and David Condon, Mayor of the City of Spokane.

Where: The Spokane Convention Center Exhibit Hall
There will be plenty of meetings taking place during Ag Week in addition to Spokane Ag Expo and Pacific Northwest Farm Forum, the largest farm machinery show in the Inland Northwest. Those events include the Pacific Northwest Direct Seed Association's annual conference and the Western States CAT "Dump for Hunger" Campaign where people can donate food and/or money to the Second Harvest Food Bank throughout the entire show.
Northwest Farm Credit Services will host its Annual Meeting during Ag Week at The Davenport Hotel. A reception titled "Connecting Friends in Agriculture" will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel as well, in addition to a number of other association meetings. Nearly 50 Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from Sky View High School in Smithfield, Utah will also make Spokane their destination during Ag Week.
