Greater Spokane Incorporated Leads Delegation to Olympia Print E-mail
Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI), the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and the West Plains Chamber of Commerce, and more than 70 business leaders from the region will travel to Olympia Jan. 18 - 20 to meet with state legislators and advocate on behalf of a unified legislative agenda.

The delegation will continue to advocate for the remaining funds for the Biomedical and Health Sciences Building at WSU Spokane and for the North Spokane Corridor.

Our State Agenda includes community projects and issues our region continually addresses:
  • Creating jobs by focusing on pro-business policies;
  • Pursuing policies in workers' compensation and unemployment insurance to allow for more choices and cost-saving changes for employers;
  • Reducing the number of business regulations, and
  • Retaining tax incentives that benefit the economy and support job growth
Our entire State Agenda outlines what our region is seeking this legislative session.
