Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI), the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and the West Plains Chamber of Commerce, and more than 70 business leaders from the region will travel to Olympia Jan. 18 - 20 to meet with state legislators and advocate on behalf of a unified legislative agenda.
The delegation will continue to advocate for the remaining funds for the Biomedical and Health Sciences Building at WSU Spokane and for the North Spokane Corridor.
Our State Agenda includes community projects and issues our region continually addresses:
Our entire State Agenda outlines what our region is seeking this legislative session.
"Sending a large delegation year after year shows Spokane's willingness to make things happen at the state level," said Rich Hadley, President and CEO of GSI. "Our region is poised for good things. This legislative session will be crucial for Spokane's future."
While the state legislature faces a lot of challenges this session, GSI and its delegation will remain united in advocating for our region.
The public can receive trip updates on YourPolicyVoice.org, GSI's public policy website, or on Twitter at @GSIPolicy and @GreaterSpokane.
