Inland Northwest Manufacturers Expo Print E-mail
The first ever Inland Northwest Manufacturers Expo will feature manufacturers and suppliers from across Washington and North Idaho meeting potential new customers and helping grow the industry in our region. The Expo is Oct. 11 and 12 at Spokane Community College (SCC).


A networking reception and manufacturing awards dinner will take place on Oct. 11 at The Davenport Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bill Hickey, President of Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp., will be the keynote speaker, talking about the state of manufacturing in America. The Association of Washington Business will present its annual statewide manufacturing awards. The price to attend is $55. Information about the networking dinner and registration can be found here.

A public ribbon cutting on Oct. 12 at 10:30 a.m. will also be part of the two-day Expo. The ribbon cutting will celebrate the new Lloyd Stannard Technical Education building at SCC.

The Expo is open to the public free of charge. The agenda for the two days is as follows:

2:00 p.m. - Seminar - "The New Logistics & Sustainability for a Global Market - Presented by UPS
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Networking Reception at The Davenport Hotel
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Awards Dinner at The Davenport Hotel
