Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI) will welcome Dr. Mark David Milliron, Deputy Director, Postsecondary Improvement for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to be the keynote speaker at our Annual Meeting on Sept. 14.
This year's theme of Courage to Compete will focus on how a strong, well-educated workforce is vital for future business and community success. Dr. Milliron will be available after the program for media interviews.
We will also share some of our highlights from the past year, including securing $35 million to start construction on a new biomedical building at WSU Spokane and business recruitment wins such as Caterpillar, Pyrotek and more.
The luncheon will be held at the Spokane Convention Center in the Integra Telecom Ballrooms from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Tickets for GSI members are $45 ($50 starting Sept. 9) and $75 for non-members. A signed corporate table of ten is $450.
