House Budget Has $35 Million for Med School Print E-mail
The Washington House released its proposed budget April 4. In it was $35 million for the Academic Health Sciences Building at WSU Spokane, which will house a four-year medical school and the College of Pharmacy. 

The Senate's budget is expected to be released the week of April 11. After both budgets are released, both houses must come to an agreement before Governor Gregoire signs off on them. 

Also in the House budget was $30 million for Patterson Hall at Eastern Washington University, and $20 million for classroom at Spokane Falls Community College.
