GSI to Host Economic Forecast Print E-mail
(Spokane, Wash.) - Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI) will host the 13th Annual Economic Forecast on Tuesday, November 16. Dr. John W. Mitchell of M&H Economic Consultants and Dr. Grant Forsyth, a professor of economics at Eastern Washington University, will be the keynote speakers.

"With so much uncertainty in the economy, hearing from two economists about where we might be headed is a great opportunity for any business, big or small," said Rich Hadley, President and CEO of Greater Spokane Incorporated. "John and Grant have always provided valuable insight, making this one of our most important events of the year."

Mitchell has been presenting at the GSI or Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce Economic Forecasts for more than ten years. Forsyth has been a presenter the past seven years.

In a recent survey of GSI small business members, respondents rated the Annual Economic Forecast as the most valuable event GSI provides. This year, we anticipate more than 600 attendees.

The Annual Economic Forecast starts at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 9:30 a.m. at The Spokane Convention Center. Registration can be accessed by going to events.greaterspokane.org. Media members do not need to register.

Both Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Forsyth will be available after the event for interviews.

Both those attending and those not attending can follow the event on Twitter using #EconForecast.
