What: Are you a business new to the world of government contracting? Would you like to learn how to get started? Need a refresher course? Join us for Government Contracting 101, a free workshop which will inform and help you get started doing business with the government. The government, whether on the state/local/federal level, can be a good customer for your business. This seminar is designed to give you the tools to begin the process. A general overview of how the federal, state and local government buys goods and services, and the seven phases of government procurement will be discussed. Additional topics include governmental registrations, market research on what the government buys, how government agencies advertise their procurements, how to locate subcontracting opportunities with government prime contractors and much more.
This workshop is presented by the Eastern Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). There is no cost for this workshop, but we do request reservations be made by visiting the Events Registration Page on the Greater Spokane Incorporated website. When: Thursday, September 9, 2010
