Recognizing Non-Profits - Give Local
In the spirit of the holidays and giving, we have designated December "Non-Profit Recognition Month." Non-profits play a vital role in our community's overall quality of life; we hope our member businesses and their employees will extend a helping hand. Giving back to the community can even benefit businesses by providing a team building activity. Please read over the Wishlist - non-profits are listed in alphabetical order - and decide how you can help a local non-profit. If you have questions, please contact

Inland Northwest Blood Center (INBC)
- Blood and platelet donors: as the sole supplier of blood to our region, we are constantly in need of donors to supply blood to the more than 35 hospitals that we serve.
- Financial Support: As a not-for-profit, 501 (C) (3) organization, The Inland Northwest Blood Center relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, civic organizations, and foundations to support marrow donor tissue typing for the National Marrow Donor Program ($100 per donor), blood mobile and vehicle program to keep blood mobiles and collection vehicles in our community, and technology that assists INBC’s therapeutic procedures in our local hospitals.
- Public Awareness Support: Because INBC serves such a large territory (approximately a 150 mile radius), we rely on local media, business, donors, volunteers and community ambassadors to help spread the word about our mission to save lives and the importance of donation. We are constantly looking for different opportunities and venues to get the word out and community assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
