GSI Joins Partners for a Healthy Spokane
March 19 - Priority Spokane, Greater Spokane Incorporated, the Spokane County United Way and the Spokane Regional Health District have formed Partners for a Healthy Spokane, a team of four community organizations that has been selected to participate in the National Leadership Academy for the Public's Health (NLAPH) program, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

March 1, 2013 - Shelly O'Quinn, the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners, will give the annual State of the County Address on March 8 at Greater Spokane Incorporated's Good Morning Greater Spokane program at Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Local Leaders Advocate for New Tankers
March 1, 2013 -
Seven business and civic leaders traveled to the headquarters of the U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) yesterday to advocate for Fairchild Air Force Base to be the first active duty Main Operating Base for the new KC-46A tanker. The Air Force will be making that determination by May 1, 2013, selecting a preferred alternative from among four bases: Altus AFB, Fairchild AFB, Grand Forks AFB and McConnell AFB.
