Eleven members make up the ad hoc committee
The City of Spokane Valley appointed 11 members to its Economic Development Committee at Tuesday's City Council meeting. The committee consists of: Wayne Frost of Greenstone Homes; John Miller of DIVCON, Inc.; John Guarisco of MDI Marketing; Keith Backsen of Visit Spokane; Julie Cohen of Holiday Inn Express; Erin Gurtel of the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center; Grant Person of NAI Black Real Estate, Ben Small of the Central Valley School District; and our own Robin Toth of Greater Spokane Incorporated. Council members Ben Wick and Brenda Grassel round out the 11-member committee. The committee will meet to develop recommendations for infrastructure projects and improvements, as well as ideas to grow Spokane Valley's economy and boost tourism investments, according to a release from the City.
