Despite record snowfall, life continues at the Capitol in Olympia, where a delegation led by Greater Spokane Incorporated convened Wednesday afternoon for a few days of advocacy work with state lawmakers.

More than 70 area business leaders signed up to travel to Olympia, with most of them making it over Wednesday. Some lawmakers are spending the night in their offices or in neighborhoods near the Capitol. Some meetings were re-scheduled, and some were canceled altogether.

The Spokane delegation will continue to meet with lawmakers to advocate on behalf of Eastern Washington.
