Mayor Verner to Present Proposed Budget Print E-mail

Spokane Mayor Mary Verner will propose her 2012 Budget to the Spokane City Council tonight at the weekly City Council Meeting. Tonight's meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., instead of the usual 6:00 p.m.

After Mayor Verner shares her proposal, the City Council will then hold public hearings throughout November. By state law, the Council must adopt a balanced budget by the end of the year.

Tonight's meeting, like all City Council meetings, will be broadcast live on CityCable5, or online at www.spokanecity.org.
