Council voted 6-1 to oppose the Community Bill of Rights.

The Spokane City Council officially opposed Proposition 1, the Community Bill of Rights, at its Oct. 24 City Council meeting. Jon Snyder was the only council member to not vote to oppose Prop 1.

While Snyder has repeatedly opposed Prop 1, his "no" vote was a vote against the City Council taking a formal position on the ballot measure.

Greater Spokane Incorporated has already taken a position against Prop 1.
