Verner and Condon Set For Candidate Forum Print E-mail

Spokane Mayor Mary Verner and challenger David Condon will be at Good Morning Greater Spokane on Oct. 14 for a mayoral candidate forum. Verner is looking to become the first Spokane mayor to be re-elected in more than three decades.

The two candidates will discuss business issues at Good Morning Greater Spokane. Greater Spokane Incorporated's Small Business Council has been working with the City of Spokane and other area municipalities to improve the permitting process, as well as discuss other issues small businesses are running into in the respective cities.

Good Morning Greater Spokane begins at 7:30 a.m. at The Lincoln Center. The candidates will take to the stage at about 8:00 a.m., with the program ending at 9:00 a.m.
