congressHouse and Senate to vote on compromise.

House, Senate and White House leaders reached an agreement on addressing our nation's debt Sunday night, making way for votes in the House and Senate.

The deal, reached after a number of attempts to compromise, raises the nation's debt ceiling while reducing spending. The nation will avoid defaulting, but did not adopt a balanced budget amendment yet.
