| State Senate Budget Has $60 Million for Med School |

The Washington State Senate released its budget proposal on Tuesday, which included $60 million for the Academic Health Sciences Building at WSU Spokane. The building will be the home to a four-year medical school and the College of Pharmacy. Last week, the state House released its budget, which included $35 million for the building. Now, both chambers will have to agree on a final number to pass to Governor Gregoire. Check out the Facebook page for more updates as they come in. |
