Spokane County (+47.6203793, -117.4043916) is situated east of the Cascade Range and on the western slope of the Coeur d’Alene Mountains on the Idaho border. Bordered by Pend Oreille County to the north, Lincoln County to the west, shares the northwest corner with Stevens County, and Whitman County to the south, the state of Idaho is directly to the east. The County has a varied topography, with forests and mountains in the north, and the agriculturally fertile Palouse Hills to the south. The elevation ranges from a low of 1583' to the summit of Mount Spokane at 5883'.
