Careers and Workforce

A strong economy depends in part on world-class people. Greater Spokane Incorporated works to position the region for economic expansion by partnering with the education community and our local businesses to establish a highly educated and technically skilled workforce.  We work to create jobs for graduates, and technically skilled employees for businesses..

We partner with industry sectors, the education community, and the government and have established programs including Career Awareness; Emerging Professionals, Intern Academy; and ‘When Work Works’ to achieve these goals.

The Teach the Teachers program is really making a difference. Teachers are empowered by your program and as a result are helping their students establish connections with educational pathways that lead to desirable careers. GSI is establishing connections in multiple ways where they were greatly needed.
