Q: How can joining Greater Spokane Incorporated help my business or organization?

Q: What happened to the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Council?

A: In 2007, the Spokane Area Economic Development Council and Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce integrated to form Greater Spokane Incorporated.

This integration was set forth in order to create a joint entity, and vision for producing a measurably more vital Spokane region. This vision includes developing a world-class business environment in the region and making it one of the leading mid-size markets in the country.

By integrating the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Council, GSI is leveraging the best of both organizations.

 

Q: How many members do you have?

A: We have approximately 1,200 members representing 100,000+ employees throughout the Spokane region.

Currently, 73 percent of our members are small businesses. From home-based businesses or a major corporations, we offer opportunities to promote your business, improve business skills and become involved in the community.
