Businesses have a lot of opportunities to stay involved with education organizations and programs in our area. Here are some ways you and your business can stay involved: Teach The Teachers
Our Teach the Teachers program allows area middle and high school teachers to be introduced to high-demand careers and given information to take back to the students. Typically, area businesses host teachers for half a day, touring the facilities and providing teachers with background information on what the business looks for when hiring new employees. A local college or university hosts the teachers the second half of the day, sharing training methods and requirements students will need to enter the particular program in engineering, manufacturing, technology, aerospace and more.
