Teach the Teachers - Health Care Workshop Print E-mail
On July 30, a group of local educators gathered for for the second health care industry focused Teaching the Teachers workshop which focused.

The workshop began at Valley Hospital and Medical Center. The teachers were given a tour of the facility as well as wonderful presentations about the extensive services and opportunities that Valley Hospital and Medical Center provides.

The educational portion of the day was hosted by Carrington College (formerly known as Apollo College). The staff at Carrington College took the teachers on a tour of their campus, gave full descriptions of the programs they offer and hosted a widespread question and answer time.

At the end of the day, the teachers gained terrific information they can relay to students that may be interested in entering the healthcare industry.
