Greater Spokane Incorporated is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the Spokane region.  As a member, you have the opportunity to make a difference by getting involved in any of the following committees & task forces.  Some require an application process to ensure representation of the broad diversity of the membership.  For more information, please call the staff liaison listed or our office at 624-1393.

 

  • Agri-Business Council 
    Supports and promotes a strong agricultural industry in the Inland Northwest. 
    Meets:  3rd Friday September – April at Greater Spokane Incorporated at 7:30 a.m.

  • Air Services
    Helps to support existing air carriers, promote expanded commercial air service, and advocate for airport improvements. Members are chosen through an application process. Meets:  When needed. All meetings are held at Greater Spokane Incorporated. Chair:  TBD

  • Ambassadors
    The member relations arm of Greater Spokane Incorporated, acts as a liaison between Greater Spokane and its members at Greater Spokane Events and member events.  Meets:  1st Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. Locations vary.  Visit our Ambassadors page for more information.     Engages business and the community in support of our region’s armed services.  Meets:  4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. (Except July and August) All meetings are held at Greater Spokane Incorporated. Chair: Shawn Mayo, Northern Quest Resort & Casino.

    Get involved in the Greater Spokane Incorporated B2BConnect Groups that provide a forum for referrals and leads to help your business grow. It is a terrific way to meet new people, learn about businesses and generate new business!

    Steering committee of the regional Buy Local campaign to encourage businesses and individuals to buy local to keep our economy and community strong.  Meets: 2nd Thursday of each month. 9:00-10:00am at Greater Spokane Incorporated.

  • Consortium of Leading Energy Efficiency Northwest Comopanies (C.L.E.E.N. NW)
    • Promote awareness of the region’s Clean Technology and Energy Efficiency industries locally, regionally, nationally and globally to attract companies and entrepreneurs to the area. Establish an effective, comprehensive network of Clean Technology and Energy Efficiency businesses and the capabilities necessary to grow the regional industry.

  • Federal Legislative Advisory Group
    Supports Greater Spokane Incorporated in selecting and maintaining a federal lobbyist to advocate on the region’s behalf. Members are chosen through an application process.

  • Forward Fairchild

  • Higher Education Leadership Group
    Looks to create a prosperous future for the Spokane region through collaboration among leaders of higher education and business/industry.   • Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC)
    A group of companies from Eastern Washington and North Idaho that provide products and services to all areas within the aerospace industry.  Mission:  significantly expand the scope and value of the aerospace business conducted in the Inland Northwest.  Meets:  2nd Wednesday of every other month at 1:30 pm; Location varies.
