Adults and students alike have an opportunity to participate in the 2012 Spokane Ag Expo photography contest celebrating agriculture. Shutterbugs of all ages are asked to submit beautiful entries depicting “Agriculture in the Inland Northwest”.

Entries must be submitted by being postmarked or hand delivered no later than November 30, 2011. All of the entries submitted will be placed on display at the 2012 Spokane Ag Expo show which is held in the Spokane Convention Center Exhibit Halls. Awards are given for two categories: Adult 18 years and older, and Youth under 18 years.

Prizes for winning entries will be:

Adult Category
1st Place: $150 cash prize               
2nd Place: $100 cash prize              
3rd Place: $ 50 cash prize

Youth Category
1st Place: $75 cash prize
2nd Place: $50 cash prize
3rd Place: $25 cash prize

2012 Winners List

Contestants are asked to submit either color or black and white prints (minimum of 8 x 10 inches and maximum size of 11 x 14 inches). Photos need to be mounted on cardboard or matted (not framed) with no more than four photos entered by a contestant. All entries are required to also submit their photos on a disc in high resolution format that is clearly marked with the photographer's name.

Winners in each category will be judged by area photographers, based on theme, composition and creativity.
