The Agricultural Bureau has been dedicated to the support and promotion of a strong, active and viable agricultural community in the Inland Northwest since 1887. Building on this rich tradition, a task force of members and regional partners are working to modernize our support for the agricultural industry. Modernization includes a broadening of focus to include research, traditional and value-added production, alternative fuels, pharmaceuticals and food systems. This dynamic process will energize our advocacy on behalf of the agricultural industry well into the future.
The Spokane Agricultural Expo and Pacific Northwest Farm Forum support the year-round operations of the Agricultural Bureau. Held in February of each year, the Expo and Forum promote the agricultural industry, generate business for agribusiness firms and educate the general public regarding agriculture’s place in the regional economy.
